About our school

Greenway Park Public School is situated approximately 11km west of Liverpool, South Western Sydney and is built on the traditional lands of the Dharug/Darug people.

The school serves a diverse multicultural community with an enrolment of 660 students, of which 71.8% come from a language background other than English, 59% have English as their Alternative Dialect and 2% are from a Refugee Background.

The school prides itself on research based pedagogical practices, which are utilised in the delivery of programs driven by direct instruction. We balance data driven, explicit instruction and feedback with innovative collegial practices.

The Greenway Park Public School community values a comprehensive education for all its students. Our motto, 'Learning for Life', is evident in all we do. We are committed to maximising and sustaining student growth in the areas of Literacy and Numeracy, through the provision of differentiated, innovative school wide programs.

Student wellbeing is the cornerstone of all teaching and learning, with students being resilient, empowered learners. Teachers set high standards within a nurturing environment. From an early age, students are encouraged to become responsible for their own actions and support our four core school expectations. The expectations Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Proud and Be Respectful are strongly supported by parents, staff and students. We regularly acknowledge the achievement and effort of all students through a comprehensive recognition program which is highly regarded in our community.
