School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

UOW Science Space | NSW Holidays & Accommodation, Things to Do, Attractions and Events

Year 4 Excursion - Science Space Centre

Date: 13th May

Year 4 students will visit the Science Space Centre to support their science unit. During the visit, students will attend a planetarium session and explore a range of interactive exhibits and activities. These experiences will help students build their scientific understanding and develop curiosity about space and the world around them

Sydney Zoo: a Fave Family Destination in Eastern Creek - Ryde District Mums

Year 2 Excursion - Sydney Zoo

Dates: 2nd June

Year 2 students will be attending Sydney Zoo to learn about traditional Aboriginal musical instruments, such as the didgeridoo and clapsticks, and explore the sounds they make. They will also gain an understanding of traditional indigenous dance movements and the stories behind them. This interactive workshop gets the students up and moving as they learn about the traditional creative arts. As an added highlight, students will also have the opportunity to explore the zoo and see the animals.

Kindergarten Excursion - Calmsley Farm

Date: 3rd July

Kindergarten students will be visiting Calmsley Hill City Farm as part of our science unit. This hands-on excursion allows students to explore and observe a variety of farm animals and produce. They will have the chance to milk a cow, enjoy a tractor ride, interact with animals in the nursery, and watch live demonstrations.
