Greenway Park Public Preschool
Greenway Park Public Preschool - The best in life and learning
The NSW Government has made a commitment to build 100 public preschools by Term 1 2027, with work underway across each location to ensure the new preschools meet local needs.
The new public preschools will give more children the best start in learning and support transitions between early childhood education and primary school.
Doubling the number of public preschools across NSW, the 100 new preschools will allow up to 9,000 additional children to access fee-free high-quality preschool on our public school sites.
We know that learning begins long before a child’s first day of kindergarten and doubling the number of on-site public preschools will set more children up for a successful transition to primary school, supporting children’s long-term academic, social and wellbeing outcomes.
Public preschools offer 600 hours of free, play-based education in the year before kindergarten and operate under the National Quality Framework.
Public preschools provide safe, caring, and engaging learning environments guided by the Early Years Learning Framework supporting all children to make a strong start in life and learning and experience a successful transition to school.
Enrolment at Greenway Park Public Preschool is not yet open.
We look forward to informing families when they can start submitting an expression of interest form to our school office, which is expected to be approximately 6 months before the preschool opens.
All new public preschools are on schedule to be delivered by Term 1 2027. You can keep up to date with information on the School Infrastructure website.
